At StockIQ, we strive to provide the best portfolio tracking experience. This policy outlines our cancellation and refund procedures for our subscription services.

2. Free Trial

We offer early adopters a 2-month free trial with full access to all features:

  • No credit card required for the trial period
  • Full access to all premium features
  • No automatic charges at the end of trial
  • You can cancel anytime during the trial with no charges

3. Subscription Cancellation

3.1 How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time by:

  • Going to Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription
  • Contacting our support team at [email protected]

3.2 Effect of Cancellation

When you cancel your subscription:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period
  • You will continue to have access to all features until the subscription expires
  • No further charges will be made after the current period ends
  • You can export your portfolio data before the subscription ends
  • After expiry, your account will be downgraded to read-only mode (if available)

4. Refund Policy

4.1 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for all new subscriptions:

  • Full refund available within 7 days of initial purchase
  • No questions asked - we want you to be satisfied
  • Refunds processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refund will be credited to your original payment method

4.2 Partial Refunds

After the 7-day period, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis:

  • Service outages or technical issues caused by us
  • Billing errors or duplicate charges
  • Pro-rated refunds may be offered at our discretion

4.3 Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:

  • Requests made after 7 days of purchase (unless exceptional circumstances)
  • Partial usage of the subscription period
  • Account termination due to Terms of Service violations
  • Change of mind after the 7-day guarantee period
  • Renewal charges (you must cancel before renewal to avoid charges)

5. Refund Process

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  2. Include your account email and order/transaction ID
  3. Briefly explain your reason for requesting a refund
  4. We will review your request within 1-2 business days
  5. If approved, refund will be processed within 5-7 business days

Refund Timeline

  • Review: 1-2 business days
  • Processing: 5-7 business days after approval
  • Bank/Card Credit: 3-10 business days (depends on your bank)

6. Subscription Modifications

6.1 Plan Upgrades

If you upgrade your subscription plan:

  • You will be charged the difference for the remaining period
  • New plan features are available immediately
  • Pro-rated credit applied for unused portion of old plan

6.2 Plan Downgrades

If you downgrade your subscription plan:

  • Change takes effect at the end of current billing period
  • No refund for the current period
  • You retain access to current plan features until period ends

7. Failed Payments & Auto-Renewal

7.1 Failed Payments

If a subscription renewal payment fails:

  • We will attempt to process the payment 3 times over 7 days
  • You will receive email notifications about failed payment
  • Your account will be suspended after 7 days of failed attempts
  • You can update your payment method in account settings
  • No refund for suspended periods due to payment failure

7.2 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled:

  • You will receive a reminder email 7 days before renewal
  • Cancel before renewal date to avoid charges
  • Renewal charges are generally non-refundable
  • You can turn off auto-renewal in account settings

8. Billing Disputes

If you notice an incorrect charge:

  • Contact us immediately at [email protected]
  • Provide transaction details and evidence of the error
  • We will investigate and resolve within 3-5 business days
  • Billing errors will be refunded in full
  • Do not initiate a chargeback before contacting us

Important: If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us first, your account may be suspended and you may lose access to your data. Please reach out to our support team first to resolve any billing issues.

9. Account Termination by StockIQ

If we terminate your account due to Terms of Service violations:

  • No refund will be provided
  • You will be notified of the termination reason
  • You may be given limited time to export your data
  • Immediate termination for severe violations (fraud, illegal activity)

10. Service Discontinuation

In the unlikely event that StockIQ discontinues its service:

  • We will provide at least 30 days advance notice
  • Pro-rated refunds for unused subscription period
  • Data export tools will be available
  • Migration assistance to alternative platforms (if available)
